More day

They say that yesterday

was the shortest day

And so when I woke up today

I could somehow feel the seconds grow brighter

And truly see the light that always ran golden

And with today, I also know

that one of my hardest times

has finally found its end

And for that, I’m grateful

especially when there’s more day

in my life and within my head
