Dear stranger

Dear stranger,

As I write this,

I don’t know who you are

or who you’re meant to be

I have no idea how you take your coffee

or, for that matter, if you even like coffee

But here’s what I do know:

You’re in this world,

just like me,

breathing, surviving,

waiting to be set free.

I wish many things for you

but most of all, I wish you the courage

to be certain of you

and feel so full of love

that you don’t even know what to do

I wish for your dreams to come alive,

for no one to forget you.

I wish you the world and more

because you deserve it

And maybe someday,

I’ll find you.
