I found that I don't just give my love

to anyone

caught my eye

just know that I burn for you

endlessly like the sky

Your voice came out like waves

calming yet teasing, moving in and away

I felt like a desert aching for rain

so when droplets came, I almost forgot the normal way

and fell too deep

probably making you unsure of what we could be

but I promise to you

being with me is more than what it seems
